RED DRESS IN SAVANNAH

We had a beautiful day yesterday, sitting by the pool and enjoying the Savannah heat.  The plan was to spend some time in the sun and then go into town and shop a little and take some pictures.  The weather didn't want to cooperate because just about the time we were going to leave it started to rain!  I was determined that we weren't going to let a little rain stop us, so we drove across the river and found a great parking place in a square and took these pictures at a beautiful church!  Savannah is full of beautiful and mysterious places and as I was standing on the porch of this church, I noticed the architecture surrounding me and had to take a few pictures.

Rebecca graduates tomorrow and we have visited this beautiful city frequently during her years here and have grown to love it!  We have made some wonderful memories!

The dress that I'm wearing in these pictures is perfect for the Savannah heat!  It was so humid after the rain (as you can tell from my hair) and I just didn't want anything to touch me!  The belt on the dress is optional and I would wear it unbelted with flat sandals for a casual look. It also has pockets which I love!  I found the great red bakelite bracelet at a vintage store in Burlington!
