Gooey Cheesy Monkey Bread

You're just one pan away from this delicious gooey, Cheesy Monkey Bread!  For some reason, when it comes to making food for the Super Bowl, indulgence is encouraged!  This recipe is sure to be a crowd pleaser and it couldn't be easier to make.  I didn't serve it with pizza sauce, but afterward I thought it might be a nice addition.  Start with cold store bought pizza dough and add cheese!  I love this recipe because you serve it right from the cast iron skillet!  Cast iron skillets retain their heat, so the bread and cheesy goodness stay warm and melty longer.  I  think the best Super Bowl foods are the cheesy ones!  You might want to serve some veggies along side just in case...

I bought pre-shredded cheese because I wanted to make prep super easy, but feel free to grate your own.  You could also change up the cheeses but definitely include the parmesan.

The shredded cheeses are mixed with shallot, parsley, garlic and butter.  Add 1 inch balls of pizza dough (I used whole wheat) and sprinkle more of the cheese mixture on top.

Put the skillet in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes and you have a delicious Super Bowl snack.  The other bonus is that your house smells like heaven!
