Styling Wide Palazzo Jeans

For anyone out there who is over the skinny jean trend that's been popular for so long, there is good news for spring...wide leg, or palazzo pants are trending and they are everywhere from magazines to street style blogs.  I was somewhat skeptical of the trend, because I am not really over skinny jeans!  Skinny jeans work well for my body type and I have so many pairs of them that my wardrobe would take a serious hit if I had to buy all new!  I was curious, however, about how these pants would work with my short legs and short waisted torso, but I think I pulled it off.
This won't turn into my every day uniform, but it is a nice look for a change.

Completely off the subject, but I'm doing a little survey at the end of this post and I would really appreciate if you would participate!  Just keep scrolling to answer one simple question for me!!

These high-waisted pants are actually an easy item to wear because they seem to enhance every shape because the accent on the waist is flattering.  I am going to try to have mine hemmed about an inch.  I looked on some street style blogs and most of them are being worn very long, but I think it would be more comfortable and practical to have them just a touch shorter.

Now for the question.  If you could pick a category to read about on Crazy Blonde Life, what would it be...fashion, inspiration, food, or a mix of the three weekly?  I'm trying to do posts that appeal to everyone and I really want to know what you like.  If there is something else, please let me know!  Just leave me a quick comment in the box below!  Thank you all for helping out!

Monday is starting a crazy week for me!  I'm leaving for New York for just one night tomorrow and having dinner with some Fierce women and flying back on Wednesday.  I'll start cooking on Thursday for a special fundraiser that's happening on Friday night here at our house.  I'll share it all on Crazy Blonde Life!  Thanks so much for reading!
