Finding Your Purpose In the New Decade

“DARLING, YOU’VE GOT MAGIC IN YOUR BONES, AND GOLD IN YOUR SOUL. DON’T LET ANYONE TREAT YOU LIKE YOU’RE ORDINARY!” ~ BILLY CHAPATA

Happy 2020!

An entire decade is now officially behind us! 2019 meant different things to everyone, but no matter what it was to you…take a deep breath and let it go because it’s all in the past. Thank this past decade for the lessons, for what it was…and what it wasn’t and realize how it challenged you and made you grow, how it served you and be thankful for the lessons.

2019 taught me that life is better when I have a guiding purpose. My purpose gets me out of bed every morning and fills my free time. It inspires me to put up with the hard things so that I can create opportunities. Starting something new can give you a fresh perspective and a new state of mind. It can help you to leave old habits behind that no longer serve you.

It’s time to look forward to a new decade that has so much to offer. Decide to expect the best and to follow your deepest desires into your best decade and best life ever.

I encourage you to look at this past year and be proud of your accomplishments. What did 2019 teach you…what went right for you? What will not be tolerated in the new year and decade? What will you leave behind?

Decide what you want to bring into your life this year. Take some time before rushing into things in the coming days to figure out what will be your guiding purpose. What are your deepest desires… knowing that you can be, do and have anything you want. As you think about the year, trust your heart, and follow your intuition. What will you create?

This year on Crazy Blonde Life, I want to remind you every week in some way that you were put here on purpose and that life can be a beautiful journey filled with joy and happiness. I believe that we will all grow incredibly this year because the time is now…SHINE BRIGHTLY ONWARD!

BRIGHTNESS INTENSIFIES AS WE FIND JOY THAT WE ARE WHOLLY AND HOPEFULLY AND COMPLETELY OURSELVES IN THE NOW.

Now…moving on to something else entirely, there will be a few new additions to the blog this year starting with shopping links to amazing deals. My daughter Sarah is great at finding deals and she has agreed to help out by scouting out deeply discounted and fabulous things. I’ve realized this however…deeply discounted and fabulous don’t last long so…if you’re interested, don’t wait because sometimes, even before I can get the link to you, things are sold out!

Here we go!

Anyone who knows me well, knows that I love books. I love beautiful coffee table books, self help books, novels and cookbooks. Every week, I’ll be giving you recommendations for books that I am reading, cooking from, and being inspired by!

Keep Going: 10 Ways to Stay Creative in Good Times & Bad by Austin Kleon - This book is for people who have found their creative niche. It shares inspiration and ideas for keeping the creative juices flowing!

Super Attractor - Methods for Manifesting a Life Beyond Your Wildest Dreams by Gabrielle Bernstein - You know I’m all about manifesting my wildest dreams! I’m about halfway through this book and Gabby doesn’t disappoint. This book is easy to read and understand and the methods provided are easy to implement. You’ll immediately learn how to bring more joy into your life…even on the days when it seems impossible!

This is Home - The Art of Simple Living by Natalie Walton - My daughter Rebecca received this book for Christmas and now I want a copy. It’s much more than a beautiful coffee table book. Our homes are more than just shelter…they can function as a place to rest our bodies, rejoice in our relationships and restore our values. You’ll love this book!

Half Baked Harvest Super Simple by Tiegan Gerard - I loved the original Half Baked Harvest Cookbook, but I will admit that many of the recipes had lots of ingredients and were somewhat time consuming. In the new book…Super Simple, the recipes have been simplified with fewer ingredients and take less time to cook without sacrificing any deliciiousness!

I hope you’re all having a fantastic start to 2020! Please leave me a comment and let me know what’s coming up in the new year for you! Also, if there is something specific that you enjoy about Crazy Blonde Life, I would love to know! Thanks so much for reading today!
