MY LILLY GIRL
Lillian McKim was born in New York sometime in the 1930's (she was always mysterious about her exact age). "Her life was one most only dreamt of (or saw in one of those fabulous black and white movies) and a life most would have been content to merely live out in the expected way." She married Peter Pulitzer and he had orange groves. She started selling boxes of oranges to all of the kitchen staffs in Palm Beach. She wanted a home for her business and started a juice stand in Palm Beach. Soon she started selling dresses with colorful prints and it wasn't long before she was selling more dresses than juice! The rest is history!
This is my Lilly Girl and that description fits her well...she definitely has the attitude! She has always loved Lilly Pulitzer, and we won't ask about the tan!!
