Yesterday was a busy day between the photo shoot for Rebecca's website and packing for the beach! I am so excited to get away and relax at Bald Head Island for a couple of weeks before the craziness of fall starts. Sarah goes back to school on August 21, just two days after we get home from the beach and then Rebecca is moving to Boston on September 1. I'll be going to Boston to help her move in, so it's going to be a little hectic! I'm going to take full advantage of sitting on the beach with a good book and enjoying the last of summer!
Two of my favorite things are my little black car and champagne! It's been a little hot to drive with the top down for the past couple of weeks but I thought it would be fun to take some pictures in this beautiful Ulla Johnson top in my little black convertible! The best time to drive with the top down is in the fall when it's still warm but less humid. Anyway, we drove a block down the street from our house to Willowbrook park and popped the cork on the Champagne...Mr. Crazy Blonde drove! After we went home and I made a very Southern dinner with grilled corn on the cob, okra, sliced cantaloupe, grilled chicken and stewed yellow squash! Rebecca made a delicious peach cobbler for dessert! It was a delicious dinner and a fun night! I wouldn't trade this time with my family for anything!
Just one more note on this top! I'm loving wearing it right now with shorts and sandals but when September rolls around, I'll switch it to jeans and booties! Ulla Johnson clothes are unique, beautiful, and very well made!
Outfit details: Ulla Johnson top (I love love this top!), Ecru shorts (from last season), Ann Taylor bag (similar here and on sale), Lush necklace, Forever 21 bracelet (I've work the heck out of this $7.00 bracelet)
I hope everyone is having a great weekend! I'm off to go for a walk before it gets too hot! Thanks for stopping by the blog! Don't forget to follow me on Instagram @crazyblondelifeblog!
