A Few of My Favorite Things

Happy Halloween!  Today I'm sharing a few of my favorite things!  It's going to be a busy day today getting ready for the trick or treaters!  The little ones usually come around five o'clock and it's a steady stream after that!  I can't wait to see Hudson in his costume...if he'll leave his hat on!  I'm making Halloween Chili for dinner and we'll eat on the porch and hand out candy for the Trick-or-Treaters (check back for the chili recipe tomorrow)!

I've always loved Halloween, especially when my children were small!  We went all out with the decorations and costumes and always went trick-or-treating!  I'm so excited to be able to do it again with Hudson!

In the meantime, here are some of my favorite things from the past week!

Ina Garden never disappoints and her new cookbook, Cooking for Jeffrey is no exception!  There are so many great new recipes that I want to try!

If you've been following my blog, you know that I love Rewined candles and the Spiked Cider makes the whole house smell like Christmas!

This house!  I can see myself living there on the hill!

I had this Fried Oyster Salad for lunch at Corner Kitchen in Asheville!  I love fried oysters and it was delicious!

This is such a great sweater by Quinn (similar here) from Rebecca & Co. Greensboro, especially for the warmer than usual weather we've been having.  My necklace is from Lush Jewelry.

My favorite baby eating Cheerios from the box...it's almost as big as he is!

Things haven't always been easy, but I'm still looking forward to the next 25 years with you Garrick Smith!
