After all of the rain that we've had over the past few weeks, yesterday was a beautiful day to be outside and enjoy the fall weather. Mr. Crazy and I decided to go to Saxapahaw to The Eddy Pub for a late lunch/early dinner! I've blogged about The Eddy Pub before here. The weather was absolutely perfect for an al fresco meal and we took full advantage of it! The Eddy Pub is a farm to table restaurant about 25 minutes from our house and we love to go there because we are never disappointed. The food is consistently delicious and the menu changes weekly!
Mr Crazy had meatloaf and I had a very spicy hot pad thai! Both were fabulous!
The list of farms supported by The Eddy Pub is very impressive (and who is that man peeking around the corner?)! It's nice to know where your food comes from!
I pulled out this blouse from Loft that I got in the early spring to wear yesterday. I'm not quite ready for full on fall sweaters and this was the perfect weight to wear for the weather yesterday. As you all know, I have an affinity for jeans and especially booties, so this outfit was very predictable for me!
My favorite Jimmy Choo booties (also love these)! This will be my third season wearing them, so they were definitely worth the investment!
The Haw River was very full yesterday from all of the rain that we've had!
We came home and had the first fire of the season! It was the perfect ending to the day!
I'm setting my intentions for a really fabulous week! I'm so happy for Monday and a fresh start to the week!
