The Rich Colors of Fall

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and I'm so excited that the our whole family is going to be home!  I am starting to plan the big meal this week...everyone has their favorites, but I like to make a couple of dishes that are new just to mix things up a little.  Despite the inevitable chaos of cooking, black Friday shopping, having a two year old running around, football games and Christmas parades on television, and a house full of people, I wouldn't have it any other way!

Anthropologie Kimono

I'm thinking that this kimono from Anthropologie might be the perfect outfit to wear on Thanksgiving day!  I love the rich fall colors and the silky texture and the fact that it's so comfortable.  I paired it with a simple black tank, gold necklace and black velvet jeans.  It's so much fun to dress festively this time of year.

Yes, it's November and I'm drinking a glass of rosΓ©!  RosΓ© is the perfect wine to serve at Thanksgiving because it goes so well with all of the rich foods that we typically eat.  I did a whole post about rosΓ© that you can read here!  Of course, ChampagnΓ© is always appropriate to serve!
