Christmas Essentials, Over-The-Knee Boots and Black Friday at Nordstrom
"There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle, the other is as though everything is a miracle." ~ attributed to Albert Einstein
Today is the day that I finish up the grocery shopping and start cooking for Thanksgiving. I'm dreading going to the grocery store because I know that there will be crowds of people but that's just part of it so I'm going with an open mind and a smile on my face. I'm hoping that I don't forget anything and I can just hang out at home and cook and listen to Christmas music! We get so busy, too busy, and there is something very special about finding the time to slow down and enjoy the moment. My wish for this season is that when I look back I will have made wonderful memories with my friends and family. That is the most important part!
I hope you like browsing through my Christmas Essentials list below! I had fun making it...some things are just for dreaming and some things are really affordable and fun! Also, be sure to click on my Holiday Store above for some of my favorite things for giving and receiving!

I have several pairs of over-the-knee boots, but when I saw the ones I'm wearing below, at Target, I really wanted to try them! They are taller than my others and tie at the back. I found that they don't work on me with leggings because they slide down, but they are fine with jeans. Target had several different styles, and something for everyone. My scarf is from Free People, it comes in several colors and would make a great gift. Click here to shop the scarf...I also really love this one!
The adorable red coat pictured below is one of my favorite pieces from the Nordstrom Black Friday Sale. It's only 37.90 and you can click here to shop!
If you're thinking about trying the white boot trend, but don't want to break the bank, these Steve Madden Booties are priced at 90.96. Click here to shop.
I hope that you all are able to take some time to slow down as you prepare for Thanksgiving and enjoy the process.
