Tomato Pie - A Southern Favorite
I've been making this tomato pie for over 15 years and every summer, I start to crave it! I had it for the first time years ago at a friends house and have been making it myself ever since! I haven't met anyone who doesn't love it! It's creamy and cheesy and the tomatoes and basil go so well together! Anything with fresh basil is good this time of the year. Bake tomato pie and let it sit for a little while to set because otherwise, you have to scoop it out. It's really delicious just out of the even so if you don't care how it looks...go ahead and dig in. I put a picture on Facebook today and had several people ask for the recipe so here it is!
