You Are So Very Powerful!

You are responsible for your happiness.  You create it.  You attract it.  You manifest it.  You are the creator of your reality.  You are free to choose your thoughts, your perceptions and how you react to external situations.  You have the tools within you to expand your awareness, to be in charge of the evolution of your consciousness, to choose happiness, to choose love.  You are so very powerful that you can create the life you deserve ~

I've been a little silent on the blog lately because I've gone in and out of feeling that bold confidence that makes me feel like I can create anything, and feeling the self doubt creep in.  There are days when I know I can orchestrate anything and create the life that I deserve (we all deserve the best life)., while other days are full of self doubt and fear.  I think we are all that way.  The days that are filled with self doubt are the days that I let my identity be tied to external things (such as other people), when it should come from within.  Sometimes I have to work really hard at reminding myself of who I am (a totally badass lady), and so are you.  So how do we navigate the days when the self doubt creeps in?  How do we remind ourselves daily of just how powerful we are and feel that power more consistently? Today, I'm reminding myself and hopefully you that I'm a powerful creator, because I need to hear it.

Everyone's day is filled with the same amount of time and you get to choose what to fill it with.  Yes, we all have things that have to be done, jobs to go to, children to take care of, but it's what you choose to do with your thoughts that can make all the difference.  If you have time to feel bad, complain and check Facebook or Instagram, then you have time to meditate, write in your journal, create a list of goals, make a list of things you are grateful for and better yourself.

Carefully choose what you watch, what you listen to, what you read, the people you hang around...be mindful of the things you put into your body emotionally, spiritually and physically.  Your "diet" is more than what you eat!

So many times, we keep ourselves in a downward spiral because we refuse to take small steps to start going forward every day.  We choose a "diet" of negativity.  Positive daily rituals can create small victories that will slowly help you to feel more confident.  It's about getting some momentum started because when you feel more confident you can begin to take bigger steps.  I started the month of August talking about being bold.  Let's all start to redefine what confidence means by questioning the standards of perfection that we impose on ourselves.  What is a perfect life anyway?  We've all arrived in the place we are because of the things we've lived so far..  The past is done and we can't go back and change it.  We aren't broken unless we think we are, so don't let your past define you.  It's time to stop retelling the same stories over and over again.  We've all lived through difficult times, but talking about it over and over again only keeps us stuck in the same old place, telling the same old story.

Redefine your confidence...know in your heart that you were born for great things regardless of what your life has been up to now.  Being perfect isn't necessary; knowing your worth is unquestionably the most important thing.  Know your worth, tell the story the way you want it to be and then...create the life that you deserves.  It's never too late and you're never too old, so get up, get out and get started!  Today!

You don't get to choose what is true, you get to choose how you respond to it.

Sending you all so much love!
