Normally, for the most part, I start my shopping and holiday decorating on Black Friday so I can take advantage of the great sales going on. This year, I’m feeling more ready to decorate and shop earlier than usual! The holidays are festive and happy and I’m just ready to celebrate!

This holiday season, it’s all about cozy with some sparkle! Loungewear and pajamas are gifts that every girl will love because we want to feel and look pretty even when we’re staying home. Every year, I give everyone new Christmas pajamas and it’s become a favorite tradition! This year, all my girls (and everyone else) are getting these cute buffalo plaid pajamas from Target to wear on Christmas morning along with a pair of cozy slippers (also love these)! After breakfast, and a few mimosas, we open presents! Making sure that everyone has something meaningful is important to me and you can’t go wrong with a beautiful bracelet! David Yurman makes the most beautiful bracelets and I they’re a gift that will be worn forever!
I’m a lover of beautiful books and one of my favorite books to gift is Tom Ford by Tom Ford and Bridget Foley - it’s filled with over 200 photographs by some of the worlds most famous photographers and it looks exceptionally beautiful on any coffee table!
Beautiful scents fill our home over the holidays…the smell of fresh greenery, candles burning, homemade cookies baking in the oven. Often when we smell these scents, it brings back memories of times past! My daughters know that my signature scent is Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir. It’s a scent that is universally loved and makes a very thoughtful gift!
After the gift opening frenzy (we have 2 grandsons), I’m sure, I’ll want to change into something other than pajamas to clean up the mess and most likely, it will be my favorite Spanx leggings paired with a cozy cardigan (also love this one). They are comfortable enough to lounge in, but you can also dress them up for any holiday event! I can’t imagine a better gift…they come in so many styles and you can never have too many pairs! Christmas afternoon is usually lazy, with more mimosas and nibbles and then we head over to my sister’s house to celebrate with her family! This fabulous red belt or camera bag from Tory Burch might just be coming along with me. I think she would also love this leopard print silk blouse and any girl would love these YSL lipsticks in a great travel pouch…shhhh…don’t tell her!
This year, I’m sure we’ll all be shopping online more than ever because of COVID. I’ll miss the experience of going to the mall, but hopefully next year will be back to normal. One good thing about online shopping is that the shipping is free as are the returns.
