Fall Capsule Wardrobe - White Jeans Edition
I’m having so much fun with my 30 Day Capsule Wardrobe….more than I expected! I’m finding it makes life so much easier and I don’t even have all of the pieces. I just purchased this camel blazer from Veronica Beard and these black loafers from Sam Edelman. I started to buy the Gucci loafers, but since they are pretty pricy, I decided to buy the less expensive version because I’m not sure if I’m a loafer girl. I’m going to step out of my box and give them a try! I’ve been trying to slowly photograph all of the outfits I’m wearing from the capsule wardrobe pieces and post them here, on Instagram and on Pinterest so you will have plenty of ideas to replicate. Most of the pieces I have are similar, but not exact, which is the point…use what you have and fill in where you don’t. I’m adding a few new options for some of the pieces below so be sure to scroll to the end!
Sometimes when you’re standing in front of your closet, it’s hard to get creative with your outfits because you see the same clothes all the time. I often get out my phone and scroll through Instagram to find an outfit…a little inspiration is a good thing!
Here, I’m styling my white jeans with a grey cardigan sweater and tan booties. This is an outfit that could also easily be worn in the spring or even on a colder day in winter with the addition of a vest and a long sleeve tee instead of a short sleeve.
This outfit is identical except for the bag.
I purchased this utility jacket several years ago and it’s a good one, but they are very easy to find. My favorite new one is from Banana Republic and it’s very similar. I’m wearing the same column of white but I’ve changed out the booties for my Golden Goose sneakers and a different tan bag. I would wear a version of this every day!
I’m absolutely loving these red sunglasses from Amazon! They’re a fun way to add some color and personality to my look! In this picture, I’m wearing the same white jeans with a black tee, black Chelsea boots (my favorites) a denim jacket and Gucci crossbody. If you don’t have a denim jack you love, it’s time to make a purchase because it’s a piece you’ll wear everywhere! I’m loving this light wash one from Veronica Beard and this oversized one from Agolde!
