4 Ways to Wear Clogs + Armoire Style

Clogs have long been a favorite footwear for me. Probably, if I’m going to be completely honest, all shoes are favorites…except for maybe Crocs…sorry! I have actually read that Crocs are coming back strong for spring 2021 and it’s a little puzzling to me. I certainly won’t be participating in that trend. I guess you could technically say that Crocs are clogs but definitely the “ugly shoe” version. Clogs are very cool shoes in my opinion and this is one trend for Spring that I’m happy about

If the “clog” conjures images of Swedish milkmaids or line dancing, rest assured that it has evolved from the all-practical Danskco. Clogs have become so much more…they can be platformed, high-heeled, low-heeled, made of tough leather or metallic. AND…they are back in a big way.

The folklorish clog has inspired many designers throughout the years such as Tom Ford and Alessandro Michele at Gucci, Maria Grazia with her DiorQuake clog in 2018 and Molly Goddard for Hermès for fall 2019. “The collection was inspired by a vision of “resurrection - You rest; you feel better; you recalibrate; you rediscover the most essential things, and realize what is clutter in your life.” These days, we’re all thinking about clearing the clutter and that might include the heels and boots that we have no place to wear anymore as we’ve been staying home. Comfort and convenience are more in the forefront. Keep scrolling to see 4 ways I’ve styled my clogs from Veronica Beard as well as some of my favorites. Also, read on to learn about some of the pieces I’m wearing from Armoire.

Other than talking about my obsession for clogs, I want to share a great company that I’ve found called Armoire. Armoire is a subscription clothing rental company and they make it so easy to wear your favorite brands without the financial commitment. Armoire gives you access to the best high-end brands for one flat monthly price. The offer three options for rentals, so there is something for everyone. You can sign up here or just look around the website to see the beautiful pieces for every occasion.

The outfit I’m wearing above is from Armoire. I’m completely in love with the jeans from Rag & Bone and the cute top is from Nicole Miller. I placed my first order not long ago and the clothes came in two days. Armoire also makes it really easy to return the clothes…they come in a reusable bag with a shipping label. It doesn’t get any easier than that…and, they do the laundry! You’ll be seeing me in many more pieces from Armoire in the coming months!

The outfit I’m wearing is made up of velvet joggers from Anthropologie from several seasons ago with a black, cropped mock neck shirt. Even though I can’t link the exact pieces, the point is to say…clogs go with so many outfits and are so easy to throw on!
