6 Fall Outfit Ideas

Ready, not ready…that’s how I feel about fall. Truth be told, it won’t be cooler here for a while, but come the middle of September, I’ll definitely be tired of my summer clothes and ready for a little sweater weather…even though that is probably wishful thinking!

I like the idea of a sweater or jacket with a pair of denim shorts and booties because it looks a little more transitional and maybe slightly unexpected, so pull out those booties and style them with your shorts!

Another trend that’s back this season is leather shorts and I’m definitely on board. I bought a couple of pairs last season and this trend is still going strong for fall 2022.

Fall is a time for classic sweaters, flowy dresses, denim and leather jackets, sneakers and boots. I discovered Moussy jeans last fall and my obsession continues! These jeans fit so well and have just the right amount of edgy street style. A classic grey cardigan and booties are perfect with these skinny jeans.

I’m not really a skirt girl, but I made an exception for this one. Wear it with sneakers and a tee while the weather is still warm and add the sweater and boots later!

I’ve started thinking about a few new fall purchases and mixing things up just a bit. I love my jeans, but I’m considering ordering a few pairs of trousers. These trousers from Frame are classic and will go with so many sweaters and I’m also liking these black ones from Theory. This plaid pair from Veronica Beard may be my favorite! Speaking of Veronica Beard…I love this, this and these and everything else on the website!
