Cabi - A Shopping Experience Like No Other
I was first invited to a Cabi Styling Event probably 15 years ago and I still remember some of the pieces I purchased, in fact, I’m still mad at myself for letting go of one of the coats that I purchased! The event was at the home of a friend and the clothing was presented by a Cabi stylist. The stylist showed us different “groups” of coordinating clothing and mixed and matched the pieces together and gave us styling ideas for each piece. It was, at the time, a very new way to shop and it was so much fun to sit with friends and have a glass of wine while watching a fabulous presentation. After the presentation was over, we were able to try on clothes and decide what we wanted to purchase! I absolutely loved it!
Fast forward several years…I met my own Cabi Stylist, Michele, again, at the home of a friend and signed up to have a Cabi Event of my own, at our house! Michele and I immediately hit it off and became friends, and now, I look forward to hosting a Cabi Event twice a year! We start by picking a date and time…my preference is a Sunday afternoon around 4…and start planning. Many of the same people come each time and we have so much fun, looking through the clothes, shopping and catching up with other…all the while anticipating the arrival of our new Cabi clothing! Everyone looks forward to seeing Michele and we trust her to be honest and tell us what looks the best and to suggest complimenting pieces. No one ever feels pressure to buy anything and I’ve heard Michele say so many times that it’s not about what she sells, it’s about introducing the brand and helping everyone to have a good time. The clothes sell themselves!

Cabi is a company run by women for women and that’s something I feel good about supporting. I love the idea of developing a community of women through Cabi Styling Events, that come together to shop each season. We all compare notes on how the pieces we already own will fit into the current collection and Michele is well educated about mixing and matching so that we will be able to make the most of our Cabi wardrobe. The seasonal collections build on each other so you can mix pieces from previous seasons with new pieces, which creates a very functional wardrobe full of quality items.
I guess, simply put, Cabi is about much more than shopping. I’ve made a new friend in my stylist, built a community of women who come together each season, and we’re all supporting each other as well as the Cabi Foundation. It’s an innovative and stressless way to shop, and as you can see from the clothing…also very stylish!
I never thought I would wear a pink suit, but this suit has become my favorite purchase from the Spring 2020 Cabi Collection! As you can see, I’ve styled it two ways…with fun pink, sky high sandals, and with cute sneakers. Michele encouraged me to try it on and I’m so glad she did!

Along with helpful hints from your Cabi stylist, the Cabi website is a great resource for how to style any outfit. Honestly, I sometimes go on the website for ideas about how to put together outfits that aren’t necessarily Cabi pieces. I love how they mix and match and I use their ideas for inspiration for all the clothing in my closet. The website also has a section that shows how to wear pieces from prior collections with pieces from the current collection, which makes getting dressed so much easier. They also have THE BEST YouTube videos that will inspire your outfits. Cabi has definitely made it easier for me to get dressed!

Although I love most all of the Cabi pieces, I will say that they make the best jackets! I make sure to buy one from every collection because I wear them so often and they are great for a cold morning or evening to add a little warmth and a little “oomph” to an outfit!
The Tied-Up Top is the Heart of Cabi piece for the season which supports the Heart of Cabi Foundation!
The Cabi Fiesta Poncho is a stand out piece that will go with everything from white jeans to shorts and Cabi is great about adding interesting details to make their clothing stand out from the rest!

The outfit above is another one of my favorites from the Spring Collection! I love pattern mixing and this outfit is so much fun…I’m dreaming of the places I’ll wear it very soon! You would never know from the picture, but the sweater is reversible, so you basically get two sweaters in one and more bang for your buck!
