Casual Holiday Glam

Casual glam is a fun way to be festive and comfortable at the same time! I was inspired to put this outfit together for a neighborhood holiday potluck and it ended up being my favorite look so far! The only new piece is the top from Fifteen Twenty and it’s such a versatile top that adds a bit of sparkle to anything! I actually love the contrasting combo of distressed jeans with something unexpectedly sparkly! The gold boots definitely add to the sparkle and were purchased last season from Free People! Surprisingly enough, I’ve worn them a lot…and they do make quite a statement! The low heel makes them really comfortable and the scrunchy sides are right on trend! My statement necklace is several years old and I’ve reached for it quite a few times recently to add a festive note to my look! My jeans are from Moussy Vintage and among my favorites.

We don’t have any fancy holiday parties to attend this season so I may just pull out the stops and dress up for Christmas Eve! We’ll see how much energy I have by that time! After being in New York for 6 days and having my daughter and her family home, I’m feeling somewhat behind on everything…from decorating to shopping! I’m planning on doing the annual holiday house tour on Monday of next week, so look out for that video on YouTube. We’ve changed things up from last year so there will be a few new additions!

I’m planning to head out this afternoon to do some vintage shopping and hopefully finish everything up…but you know…there is always something I remember last minute that needs to be done! I would love to have all of next week to cook and relax before Christmas Day! Have you finished your shopping??

I’m including these two collages in just in case you need any last minute inspiration! You can still receive your orders on time from most places but you should order soon to get everything by Christmas! I’m loving the shades of camel, especially the Chelsea boots which have been on my list for a while now!

A red theme seems appropriate and all of these items are amazing! The red pants from Frame are a great shade of red that will go way beyond the holiday season and the clog boots from Veronica Beard in black will go with everything! I own these boots in the tan color and they are fur lined all through and are so warm and cozy! You can never go wrong with a Nest candle and the cute red sunglasses make a great stocking stuffer!

This week is flying by and Christmas is in 10 days! I’m starting to think about the new year and the direction Crazy Blonde Life will go! I would love to know what your favorite posts are and what you would like to see more of in the coming year! Please leave a comment and let me know! Also, enjoy the boutique below to make shopping easier!
