Cozy Winter Layers

There is no doubt that the weather everywhere has been crazy! In North Carolina, it’s warm one day and freezing the next and it’s hard to adjust, not to mention figuring out what to wear! Here are a few outfit ideas that include cozy coats, but would be equally as cute worn without the coat…for those random, crazy warm days!

I couldn’t love these boots from Tory Burch more! They look great with black and grey and everything in between!

As you know, I’m a huge clog fan and in my opinion, the best way to wear clogs is with wide leg pants…they have a very cool 70’s vibe!

The Western trend is still going strong and it’s so easy to add just a touch of western by including a cowboy boot, or even a great belt! Also…let’s talk about this cute light blue plaid coat! I love light blue for winter…it seems like the perfect color to wear when it’s cold and brightens up any outfit! The cream sweater pictured here is a closet essential that you’ll wear with absolutely everything for seasons to come!

If you’re a loafer lover, these from Tory Burch are for you! Tory Burch shoes are always comfortable and so well made. The coat is an investment piece, but also a keep forever piece! Paired with a cute fair isle sweater and black jeans, you’ve got a classic outfit that will take you almost anywhere!

I’ve been in the market for a fur vest and this faux fur one is coming straight to my door any day now! It’s a piece that adds a layer of warmth but still shows off what’s underneath! If you haven’t jumped on the lug sole boot trend, these from Sam Edelman are the ones to buy…the price is affordable and they look almost identical to the way more expensive Prada boots. This is the way to style jeans and a black turtleneck!

Another light blue piece to add to your winter wardrobe! I absolutely love it styled with camel!

Frederic Malle Portrait Of a Lady Perfume

Worth Every Penny!

Recently, when my daughters and I were in NYC, we were introduced to Frederic Malle Portrait of a Lady Perfume! It’s a totally intoxicating scent and when you wear it, people stop you on the street to ask you what you’re wearing…it truly smells that good! As I’ve said before, Jo Malone Pomegranate has been my signature scent for many years and I still love it, but for now, I’m wearing Portrait of A Lady everyday and loving it! It never hurts to try something new! Look for more coming soon about the company that makes this lovely perfume!

How’s your holiday shopping coming! Every time I sit down to shop at my computer, I end up buying myself something…it’s a problem!
