Everything I Wore at the Beach
I have one more week here at Bald Head Island and most of it will be spent working on Blondie! Today, I’m making some great summer recipes that will be in the magazine and tying up some loose ends. If you haven’t already subscribed, you can click here!
I’ve had so much fun with fashion on this trip and this post is filled with some of the looks that I’ve worn. This island is very casual for the most part and that suits me just fine! I’ve linked exact pieces when possible. Happy Monday Everyone!
One of my favorite looks! I love to wear a boho top with denim shorts and of course an armful of jewelry. The bracelet on my right arm is by Pamela Mason and you can see her things here.
I’ve been wearing my hair curly for the entire time we’ve been here! It’s just too humid to even try to straighten it! I would have preferred to straighten it on the night I wore this dress, but oh well…
Susana Monaco is another favorite brand for me. The fabric is perfect for travel and easy to wash.
The stunning pearl necklace with a labradorite stone is by Julie Miles. Julie’s website is mostly a look book of her jewelry, but her contact is on the website if you’re interested in purchasing anything! Just contact her directly.
Another dress from Vici! This was one of my favorite shoots…the container ship in the background came up just at the right time. I love love wearing this dress at the beach because it’s beautiful and cool and the wind catches the skirt.
This black swimsuit was purchased last year but I never got around to wearing it! I’ve loved it this year, but unfortunately I couldn’t find the exact one. I’ve linked similar.
This cute halter dress is from Topshop and is the perfect going-out-to-dinner dress. It’s still available!
Vera Bradley sent me this adorable beach bag and it has been great! I love having an assortment of bags to go with different outfits…as you know and beach bags are no exception! My shoes are Tory Burch and I love them in red, but they come in lots of other colors. My dress is from Lou & Grey at Loft.
Another swimsuit and sarong from Trina Turk!
As you can probably tell, Vici has been a go-to for me this season! They have so many things to choose from and the price is always right. I’ve linked all kinds of cute citrus pieces!
July 4th was my first official day on the island, so of course, I wore red, white and blue and had a mimosa to celebrate!
Pj’s on the porch with John Wayne. This cute pair is from Amazon I’ve linked the exact pair and some others to choose from!
I’ve gotten several swimsuits from Target this year! The one I’m wearing here is one of my favorites and the price is always right at Target!
This midi dress came from Vici and it’s one of my favorites when I want to be casual but not wearing something loose and flowy.
And finally - loving this easy breezy beach romper from Vici! I’m getting ready to put it on and do a little shopping!
How do you like to dress at the beach? Do you get dressed up often or do you keep it casual? Leave me a comment and let me know!
