Nine Fashion Favorites from January 2021

Happy New Year everyone! I hope your year is off to a great start!

I’m working on so many new things for 2022 and today will be spent in my office creating a content calendar for January and February and putting the finishing touches on my Journey of Becoming program. I’m really excited about this and think it’s the ideal way to start the new year!

I know I keep talking about the crazy weather we’re having in North Carolina, but yesterday our high was 80 degrees on January 1! Today it’s a little cooler…67 is the high but it’s really unheard of! The thing that’s even crazier is we’re expecting a winter mix on Monday and the temperatures will plunge! Who in the world knows what to wear these days!

Anyway…just in case you’re looking for a little winter fashion inspiration, today, I’m sharing a few looks that popped up on my photo timeline the other day. I would still wear each of them today! These looks are made up mostly of closet essentials with a few fun elements thrown in. I hope you find some inspiration!

The boots and scarf in the above outfit make is so much more interesting. You can’t go wrong by adding a little bling and a touch of leopard!

The bling and leopard formula is working again in the outfit above. More traditional boots would have been fine with this outfit, but the lug sole combat boots make it fun!

I’ve worn blazers more this year than ever before. Partly because the weather just hasn’t been that cold, but for some reason, I’m late the party and I’ve just discovered that they make a basic outfit look so much more polished!

This coat is a forever piece! I got is several years ago from Saks and it was half price…even at half price it was still a splurge, but well worth it! It definitely makes a fun statement!

While the vest I’m wearing in this outfit was anything but a splurge, it’s been one of my favorite pieces for quite a few years. Again…a fun element makes closet basics so much more interesting!

I remember when these pictures were made and it was a very cold day. Layering a coat (especially a pink one) adds warmth and fun to this outfit! The bling is on the Miu Miu bag!

Baldy gave me this red Tory Burch bag for Christmas last year and I wear it often. I love the pop of red and the simple lines of this bag! My over-the-knee boots are by Stuart Weitzman and I think everyone should have a pair of these timeless boots!

Last year, I fell in love with the Anine Bing brand! This golden yellow coat is one of my favorite purchases from last season. The one I’ve linked is the very same style, only it’s houndstooth. I would really love to add it to my collection as well!

This outfit is head to toe Spanx! You can’t go wrong with Spanx Moto leggings and Gucci boots! I’ve been wearing these boots for 4 years now and they still look almost new AND…Gucci still makes the exact pair!

I’m including a boutique below of similar items to the ones I’m wearing in this post.

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you have a fabulous Sunday!
