Golden Hour

Yesterday was a long photoshoot day…we started at around 5 pm and really worked to get pictures of eight different looks. In the beginning, the weather was hot and sunny and after about an hour, the clouds rolled in and we really thought it would rain, but thank goodness, the rain never came. After five different outfit changes, I was getting tired and almost decided to call it a day, but the light was so pretty…it was golden hour and I just had to shoot one last look…this Trina Turk dress.

I’ve been wearing (and loving) Trina Turk for many years! I love the bright colors, fun prints and the fit of the clothes. The dress I’m wearing here is a classic Trina style that anyone can wear! Just for reference, I’m 5’4” (almost) and I actually think this dress could be slightly shorter on me, but the heels I’m wearing make it work. I love the flattering sleeves and flowy style of the dress. It’s perfect for a dressy dinner, or it could also be worn as a very chic swimsuit cover-up by the pool. It’s the perfect dress to pack for a summer escape!

I pulled accessories from my closet…a very old but much loved gold clutch from Tory Burch, my strappy Valentino stiletto sandals and gorgeous lucite jewelry and a gold cuff from Julie Vos.

I can’t wait to actually wear this dress out to dinner very soon!
