The Best Summer Dresses

Summer is dress season and there are so many good ones to choose from this season! From long to short, cutouts to very feminine and everything in between! I’m having so much fun with dresses and admittedly have purchased more than several because I’ve had so many events to attend! May has been an amazing month so far! Here’s a look at four of my dresses that I’m sure I’ll wear over and over again! They are all very different and can be styled in different ways so these are just my suggestions! I’ve also added options for shoes and accessories at different price points.

This dress from Rhode was the dress I wore at my birthday party! I love the shape of it and the way it fits. It was very comfortable and I got so many compliments! I wore fabulous raffia sandals from Loeffler Randall but I could also see dress this styled with flats and worn more casually!

I wore this dress by Marie Oliver out to dinner for my Birthday and it was perfect! The silky fabric and metallic thread make if feel more special and the Gucci sandals (old) really dress it up even more! The sunglasses are from Target and i’m loving the color!

I purchased this gorgeous dress, also from Marie Oliver, to wear for Mother’s Day! I think it’s so feminine and the cutout on the side is very appropriate for lunch with my family! I wore huge earrings that I’ve had for years and added pink espadrilles. My cute bag is also an oldie but goodie from Poolside and I’ve linked a very similar one! I will also be styling this dress with flats and wearing it out to dinner at the beach…

When I saw this dress from SEA, in my mind I was wearing it on the porch at the beach, enjoying a glass of wine after a day at the beach! I’m really in love with everything about it and the bonus…it has pockets! Wear this dress with espadrilles or with bare feet…either way, it’s perfect! An off white bag (similar and same brand here) that I’ve had for years and Stella McCartney espadrilles complete this look.

Today, as I’m writing this, it’s Sunday (Mother’s Day) and I’m feeling so very blessed to have three beautiful daughters. I’m headed to brunch with my oldest daughter Lauren and her children and then, I’m planning to go for a walk with Amos and maybe catch up on some magazines. I hope you all have a wonderful day!

As always, I love your comments! What dresses are you wearing and tell me about your Mother’s Day! Thank you so much for reading today!
