Your Tweed Jacket Is Having a Moment

Effortless Spring Style

Tweed jackets are having a major moment right now, and the way they're being styled feels completely different than you might expect. Less traditional, more effortless. The formula is simple…something polished, something easy, and something with a little edge. The tweed jacket gives you that polished base, and then it's all about what you pair it with. Think relaxed wide-leg jeans, layered accessories, a pop of color in the shoe, and unexpected details like a silk scarf tied at the neck. I'm especially loving the Chanel-inspired energy right now, and you don't need designer to get the look. It's really about the mix of textures, silhouettes, and styling choices that make it feel current. My version leans more classic…lavender tweed, wide-leg denim, a floral scarf, and metallic gold pumps. This look is classic and easy but not boring. My bag is a bit unexpected but the colors work well together. I have other styling ideas for tweed jackets because I have quite a collection and don’t want to look the same every time I put one on! Stay tuned, because I'm coming back with some more unexpected, edgy ways to style a tweed jacket that might surprise you!

My jacket (very similar here) and scarf are from Benaar LA…they have a great selection of tweed jackets (see the boutique below), my jeans are from Frame and have been some of my favorites…the bag is vintage Marni (found this similar one on The Real Real) and my fabulous gold shoes are from Madison Maison! These shoes are so comfortable and I have the in three colors!

Tweed is one of those pieces that earns its place in your closet every single season…and right now it's earning it in a whole new way. Start with your classic interpretation, but be sure to come back because I'm styling this jacket (and others) in some fun ways that might surprise you. In the meantime, take a look at the fabulous options in the boutique below. And tell me in the comments…are you a classic tweed girl or are you ready to push it a little further?

Thanks so much for reading today!
