Jeans Are Getting Interesting
The denim trends worth paying attention to right now!

Denim is having a really good moment right now...and honestly, the best part is that there are no rules. According to Who What Wear, we're seeing a shift toward tailored silhouettes that feel clean but still relaxed…polished without being overdone. Frayed and split hems are back in a big way after disappearing for nearly a decade, and the way to wear them now is paired with something structured, like a blazer. Bootcut is also making a quiet comeback…that subtle flare balances an outfit and elongates the leg. Washes are going lighter and more vintage this season, think faded blues, soft grays, and true indigo. You’ll also see fun embellishment such as beading and embroidery…these are true statement jeans and I’m here for it all!
The overall direction for spring is intentional but effortless...fits that actually flatter, hems that show off your shoes, and pieces that slot into your wardrobe without a lot of overthinking. My Paige split hem jeans hit every one of those marks! I found these on my recent trip to Charleston and and had to have them! Jeans such as these are a great way to incorporate a trend into your wardrobe with looking “trendy”…they’re just a great pair of jeans!
I’m including everything I’m wearing in these pictures plus some fabulous “interesting” jeans in the boutique below!
I don't chase every trend...not even close. But I do think staying somewhat current matters, and here's why. Completely ignoring trends can age you faster than you realize. It's not about trying too hard, it's about editing with confidence. Trends are just tools. You get to decide how boldly you use them and how to incorporate them into your wardrobe. What I’ve also noticed over the years is that most trends aren't really new at all. Designers consistently look to the past for inspiration, blending it with ideas that fit our current moment. By the time something reaches the mainstream, it's already been filtered through decades of fashion history. That’s why so much of what's trending right now feels familiar and wearable...because it is. Women who have lived through decades of trend cycles have had time to curate their personal style in a way that's worth celebrating. In other words, we’ve found our style but want to stay relevant in the fashion world. If you’re someone who loves fashion, there's wisdom in knowing what trends work for you. That’s exactly the place I try to dress from.
Denim is one of those things that never really goes away...it just keeps reinventing itself. Finding the right pair is worth the effort, and when you do, everything else in your closet suddenly has more possibilities!
Are you loving any of the new denim trends this season…let me know in the comments!
