Summer Party Season
The weather is beautiful and it’s time to get outdoors and host a party…or get dressed up and go to a party! I’ve put together a few ideas for what to wear and how to decorate for your next outdoor party! I’ve found some fun items that you’ll use (and wear) all summer long!
I just ordered The Book of Flowers and can’t wait for it to come…it inspired this themed Garden Party! Butter yellow seems to be THE color of the season and this pretty dress would be amazing for a party, dinner at the beach, or with flats for anything! I’ve paired it with cultured pearl and gold earrings, white sandals, a beaded gold bracelet, a white bag and the perfect shade of pink lipstick! Small details such as linen cocktail napkins and purple stemmed wine glasses make all the difference!
Pink and green were made for summer…it’s such a happy color combination! Invite your friends over for girls night and serve fun cocktails in old fashioned glasses alongside Praline Pecans (these are so tasty)…all served on a round rattan tray with the prettiest cocktail napkins. Don’t forget plenty of ice served in the cutest rattan ice bucket and make sure your home smells amazing with scented candles everywhere!
Wear a pink top and white jeans for a summery outfit that’s still comfortable!
One of the easiest and most delicious dinner ideas is to serve a big salad, a gorgeous cheese board and open a fabulous bottle of wine…your guests will love it and there is minimal effort and minimal cleanup but it looks beautiful! Serve the salad in a statement making wooden salad bowl and add extra flavor to your salad with a sprinkle of Smoked Maldon Sea Salt Flakes and a grind of fresh black pepper from a brass peppermill. Add pretty cheese knives to your cheese board and serve a little Red Pepper Jelly alongside the cheese. Linen napkins make every party feel more special and arrange grocery store flowers in cute flower buckets!
A gingham top a pretty beaded necklace and simple gold earrings paired with white jeans fits the theme perfectly and wear flat sandals so you’ll be comfortable!
I love a themed party and a great place to start is with a color! Set the tone with a cute outfit featuring orange and white striped jeans and a white blouse and keep the color palette going with an orange tray (also love this bigger one), orange cocktail napkins AND wine glasses! Serve tasty cheese straws in a pretty bowl and let your guests choose their drink of choice from an adorable wicker beverage chiller!
