The creamy, dreamy shade taking over spring 2026

Okay, can we talk about butter yellow for a second because I’m obsessed! This soft gorgeous, creamy shade showed up last spring and basically took over everything… sweaters, slip dresses, handbags, linen sets, you name it, and I am not complaining. Fast forward to spring 2026 and butter yellow is back, looking better than ever and showing up on runways from Chanel to Valentino. Style icons like Jennifer Lawrence and Alexa Chung are already wearing these pieces, and I’m seeing it all over my Instagram feed! I get so many outfit ideas from Instagram and I’ve purchased a few pieces for spring already with looks in mind. Think of this color as the happier, more interesting version of beige…still very easy to style but with this warm, sunny energy that neutrals could never pull off. I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite pieces (at most price points) there are some really good ones in the boutique below (the green and yellow striped flats are my favorites).

Butter yellow is a color that looks good on almost everyone because it has a creamy quality that doesn’t compete with skin tones…it just blends beautifully. Pair it with white, denim, navy, or even pink if you’re feeling bold. Or go for a full-on monochromatic look which is my favorite way to wear it. This is one of those trends that feels fresh right now but is also just so pretty and feminine. Are you jumping on the butter yellow bandwagon this spring?
