Two Prints, One Season - Polka Dots & Snake Are Having a Moment

Two prints are dominating spring right now, and honestly I'm here for both of them. Polka dots and snake print could not feel more different…one is playful and retro, the other is earthy and a little wild, but they share the same energy of a woman who dresses with intention. I've been pulling together my favorites in both and have two ShopMy boutiques ready for you with everything linked... scroll through, see what speaks to you, and let the season be fun.

Polka dots are having a moment this spring, and honestly it feels right. The print reads as both playful and pulled-together depending on how you wear it…a dotted midi skirt with a crisp white button-down is completely different energy from a polka dot blouse tucked into tailored trousers. If you need a little style inspiration, Funny Face (1957) is essentially spring in movie form... Audrey Hepburn in Paris, Givenchy dressing her in some of the most beautiful clothes ever put on film, polka dots included. Polka dot sizes this season are ranging from tiny tonal dots to oversized graphic ones, and the color stories are leaning into classic black and white as well as unexpected combinations like chocolate and cream or red and ivory. It's one of those prints that works across price points without losing its charm.

Snake print never really goes away, but this spring it's moving away from the head-to-toe maximalist moment and toward something more refined. Think a snakeskin-print loafer, a structured shoulder bag, or a blazer in a tonal python. These are pieces that add texture and edge without screaming. The palette is neutral...ivory, camel, olive, and black...which makes it easy to work into what you already own. It's the kind of print that does the heavy lifting when everything else is simple.

Two prints, endless possibilities... and yes, you can absolutely wear both!

Thanks so much for reading today!
