Matching Pajama Sets to Get You in the Holiday Spirit
KEEP CALM…CHRISTMAS IS COMING!
Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday because it’s all about eating great food and spending time with family. As I said in my post yesterday, Thanksgiving will look a little different this year, but we still have so very much to be thankful for! I am so thankful that I have my two sweet grandsons in my life and that I get to see them almost every day! They bring so much joy and make me want to be the best person I can be!
We always get our Christmas tree on Thanksgiving weekend! We go to the same place every year and pick out what we think will be the perfect tree! Then…that’s when the fun begins. I usually try to make myself scarce while Baldy puts the lights on the tree because it’s not his favorite task, but it’s always so beautiful and this year, more than any other, we need LIGHT, SO MUCH LIGHT!
When the girls all lived at home, we would put on our Christmas pajamas, make a huge charcuterie board and decorate tree while we nibbled on delicious treats. This year, we may just nibble on a few cookies (Target has the most amazing gingerbread sandwich cookies) because charcuterie can be messy and isn’t too suited to children under 5, but we’ll decorate and make the tree beautiful no matter what we nibble on!
All of this made me think about matching pajamas! There is really nothing like wearing matching pajama sets while sipping hot chocolate and eating cookies with your grandsons! I don’t recommend eating them in the bed though! These pictures were so much fun, but our bed did have a few crumbs when we went to sleep. Amos ate a lot of them, but he missed a few!
I purchased our cozy flannel pajamas at Target! These buffalo plaid pajamas come in every size and they even make them for Amos. I’ve ordered his pajamas and a pair for Baldy, aka, Pops, and they should arrive any day! The holidays are here and I’m feeling the holiday spirit…
Gingerbread cookies are favorites of mine and these are really so good! We all loved them!
