The Weekly Amazon Edit: Intentional Finds Worth Sharing

This morning, I wrote a very long Instagram post about some changes that have been coming for a little while now! I hope you’ve noticed a change in my content…more thoughtfully written, a few more recipes lately, and an intentional effort to make this blog something that you really want to read each day.

After 12 years of blogging, I recently thought about walking away. I was exhausted from chasing algorithms, saying yes to partnerships that didn't feel right, and working every waking moment. But instead of quitting, I'm refocusing on what brought me here in the first place…sharing only what I genuinely love and protecting time for what actually matters - my husband, my grandchildren, long lunches with friends, and the joy of simply living. At 62, with time ticking, I'm learning to spend my energy on a life I actually want to live, not one that just performs well online. As you probably know by now…my word for the year is authenticity - the real version, not the Instagram version - and I'm finally figuring out how to do this my way.

One thing you've probably noticed lately - I'm posting Amazon finds less frequently. Just once a week now, instead of the constant stream it used to be.

Here's the truth…I rely on Amazon. Maybe too much, if I'm being honest. It makes my life easier, and I know it does the same for many of you. But I've been trying to be more intentional about what I share and why.

The thing is, I also understand that many of you come here looking for great fashion options that don't require a second mortgage. Not everyone wants, or can afford only boutique pieces and designer labels. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Style isn't about price tags…it's about finding pieces that make you feel good and work for your life.

So I'm finding my balance. One curated Amazon post per week feels right - intentional but still helpful.

Today's roundup is full of pieces I'm genuinely excited about. Nothing cheap or throwaway. There's even one pricier bag that I think is worth the splurge. But mostly, it's full of smart, stylish options that offer real value - the kind of finds that make you feel like you discovered something special.

I hope you find a few treasures here. And yes, some of them can be at your door tomorrow if you need them LOL. (Because let's be honest, sometimes that two-day shipping is exactly what we need.)

Happy shopping!

So…to change things up a bit today, I thought I would share the things I actually ordered from Amazon over the last several weeks!

I’m addicted to Laundry Sauce products (love the French Saffron scent) and I have the laundry detergent pods and scent booster on subscription. This company makes environmentally friendly products that smell heavenly! I just love when my laundry smells amazing!

Probably my favorite purchase…this fabulous, fun, funky bag is the perfect bag for carrying on a cold snowy day! I’m in love!

I recently changed my toothpaste and started using Marvis Whitening Toothpaste (made in Italy) exclusively! I love the way it tastes and it looks pretty on my counter…although I don’t leave it there!

I also have a subscription to Dave’s Dog Food…we have a puppy with a very sensitive stomach and call him Pooper (or just poops)! This dog food really helps with the problem and he seems to enjoy it!

I got a new phone…so I needed a new phone case! I like the ones with the magnetic bag for filming food videos!

I take these Goop Beauty Morning Skin Food supplements every day…another subscription because I don’t ever want to run out!

I have purchased three of these National Geographic Microscopes…2 for grandchildren and one for a cute little friend down the street! These make great educational gifts and kids love them!

We have a Jolie Shower head (love, love, love) and I make sure to always have a new filter for when it needs to be replaced!

We have lamps and sconces with dimmer switches and these light bulbs are the best! The light is warm and nice.

This book - Seven and a Half Lessons About the Brain & How Emotions Are Made By Lisa Feldman Barrett, came highly recommeded! It hasn’t been delivered yet, but I’m excited to read it when it comes!

It was time for a new pair of UGGS and this style is my favorite! I kept the old ones to wear on days when I’m cleaning the house or doing projects!

I ordered this duvet cover for the bed in my daughter’s room…needed a spare but OMG…how I hate to put these on!

I ordered a new ring light to film food videos…I’m planning to film a new shrimp recipe today!!

These cute sneakers are giving Miu Miu vibes without the designer price tag! They should arrive Wednesday and I can’t wait for the snow to melt so I can wear them!

Maybe I have a sunglasses addiction…these cute ones will be so much fun for our upcoming trip to Florida!

This Avène Moisturizer has been a lifesaver for my post laser skin! It feels so good and I have kept my face coated!

I bought this Dinosaur Headlamp for my grandson’s birthday present! It was a hit and he’s so cute wearing it around!

My Amazon purchases are oddly fairly diverse…you just never know what you’ll find when you start looking!

I hope you’re all staying warm, safe and cozy! It’s snowing hear as I write this and I don’t think it’s going to stop anytime soon! Have the best weekend and thanks so much for reading today!

~XOXO Suzanne
