Five Spring Looks From My Closet

How I'm dressing this week, from polished to easy….

Today I'm sharing five looks straight from my closet! I've made a few new fashion purchases that I'm so excited to wear and I've styled them with pieces I already own. These are classic elevated basics (for the most part) that I'll mix and match and wear forever... starting with my favorite new gingham pants from Vince (they were in a collage yesterday). They really do have an "Audrey Hepburn" feel, and you could change the whole look by switching the shoes and top. I styled them with an older Veronica Beard blouse (I’ve linked several similar below), Alexandre Birman block heel sandals (so versatile), and my Veronica Beard wicker bag.

The second look features a new pair of jeans I'm absolutely obsessed with! The style name is Joplin and it's so fitting for the 1968 feel of the jeans. They're very high-waisted, very flattering, and oh so fabulous. I paired them with a bag from Cult Gaia, my older Gucci block heel sandals, and a Mango sleeveless sweater... kind of a high-low look! I tied a vintage scarf to the bag for a bit of color and added acrylic earrings from Julie Vos. Very pleased with this one.

The next look features a dress from Spartina 449 with a very Palm Beach feel! I love the print and the fringe at the bottom. It's so flattering and very wearable. I had a necklace that matched perfectly but I have no idea where I got it or the brand... I buy costume jewelry when I see something fun so I'll have it when the occasion calls for it. The little rattan bag is from a new-to-me brand called Marlies Grace and it couldn't be more perfect for summer. Just the right size to hold the necessities and nothing more.

The next two looks are built around my favorite pair of cropped jeans (very basic but fabulous) and a pair of denim sling-back sandals. These are classic spring/summer looks that put the focus on the shoe but still feel very chic and approachable. The white linen blouse is from Frank & Eileen... I already have it in denim and just purchased the white. I love the cropped length because it sits just right and is easy to tuck. I hope you're inspired by these looks!

I think this is how spring dressing should feel…effortless, a little loud, and completely yours!

Thanks for reading today!
