Spring Doesn't Wait for Permission -Adding Color to Your Wardrobe

How one statement piece can shake up your whole wardrobe and your mood!

There's something about reaching for color when everything outside still feels grey and cold. This Hunter Bell cropped tweed jacket... red, orange and blue with that gorgeous fringe trim... is the kind of piece that makes you happy the moment you put it on. I paired it with a matching ponte knit trench from Anthropologie that I bought a few weeks ago and that coincidentally matched perfectly, a pair of wide leg trouser jeans from Frame, a simple white blouse, my Roger Vivier red shoes (very similar here), and a white Veronica Beard bag. This outfit feels like a happy surprise, and I love wearing it.

The individual pieces work harder than you might think. The jeans are obviously endlessly versatile, but the tweed jacket would be just as perfect with a straight leg jean and flats or sneakers... and the trench would be amazing with jeans and a light blue blouse underneath. I bought the white bag last summer and I've reached for it over and over again. You'll definitely be seeing these pieces styled in different ways... consider this just the beginning! Keep scrolling for a boutique with these pieces and a few other similar things that I’m loving right now!

You don't have to wait for spring on the calendar to start dressing like it's coming and sometimes walking out the door in a fringe tweed jacket when the world is still grey is exactly the right answer. These versatile pieces will carry you straight through the spring season and into summer. This is your sign to wear the color!

Would you wear this outfit? Leave a comment and let me know!

Happy Friday and thanks so much for reading today!
