The JoyLux vFit Device - My Experience

What Causes vaginal dryness

What causes vaginal dryness and why do we experience it? Vaginal dryness during and after menopause happens because changes in hormone production cause the vaginal walls to thin. This means there are fewer cells producing moisture which leads to vaginal dryness. Reduced estrogen levels is the most common cause of vaginal dryness, and this is associated with menopause. If you’re experiencing vaginal dryness and want to learn how to care for your intimate health…read on!

Why is it that talking about a woman’s vagina is so taboo?  Every other commercial on television seems to be about erectile dysfunction, but you certainly don’t hear commercials about vaginal dryness very often, if at all…so today, we’re going to have an honest conversation because I think it’s important to talk about women’s health issues!

Vaginal dryness is no picnic to live through.  I personally haven’t had many outward symptoms of menopause such as severe hot flashes, lack of sleep, hair loss, and weight gain, but I’ve suffered from extreme vaginal dryness for several years.  There are treatments for this, but so many of them involve estrogen hormone therapy, which I cannot do because I’ve had a blood clot.

Discovering the JoyLux V-Fit

I was on the verge of paying thousands of dollars for a laser treatment to stimulate collagen in my vaginal wall and restore the tissue until I heard about the JoyLux V-Fit.

The Joylux vFit Device was developed by Joylux Inc. (a woman-owned wellness company) and is a home-use vaginal rejuvenation and wellness device that uses a combination of heat, low-level LED lights, and sonic technology to treat pelvic floor and vaginal issues.

As I was researching the vFit, I came across an interview with the doctor who developed the device and after hearing the results women had been getting using the device, I immediately ordered one for myself.

A few days later, my vFit came in the mail and I was ready to get started and see if this device would really work for me…but first, I needed to download the Joylux vFit Gold Controller app and charge my device for 12 hours.  The app automatically turns the device off and on and times each session depending on the program you’ve selected. The programs are Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced, and Maintenance (after you’ve finished six to eight weeks of use).  The Joylux app also has a section called UnivHERsity where you will find information on topics related to menopause wellness.  You can also shop for Joylux products, keep a log with a daily check-in to keep track of diet, supplements taken, water intake, and more, and connect with a community of women going through menopause.

It is recommended that you use the Joylux Device three times per week for six to eight weeks gradually increasing the amount of time from 6 to 12 minutes. The device uses red light energy, thermal energy, and sonic technology to stimulate collagen and improve the health of your vaginal floor. The red light energy is delivered with six high-powered, UV-free stimulating red lights (LEDs) in the 662nm wavelength that shine brightly to safely and effectively produce a positive, natural body response.  The thermal energy is gentle heat that warms the tissue and encourages blood flow, which aids in natural lubrication to help soothe dryness. Gentle heat also amplifies the LED benefits.  The sonic vibration aids in stimulation. There are 6 (vFit) and 10 (vFit PLUS) modes for your customization.

You’ll need to use the Joylux Photonic lubricant with the device.  It is formulated specifically to enhance your vFit performance and comfort, this ultra-concentrated, water-based gel is infused with hyaluronic acid and aloe to help moisturize.

My take on the JoyLux vFit

The vFit is simple to use and the time spent is well worth it.  Simply turn on your device, apply the Photonic lubricant to the tip, insert the device and sit back for up to 12 minutes, three times a week for 6 to 8 weeks and then 1 to 2 times per week after to maintain results.  I’ll admit that the first time I used my device, I was a little skeptical, but with regular use, I’ve definitely experienced less dryness and more stimulation.  The results came as the health of my pelvic floor has improved!

The price of the JoyLux vFit device is $395 making it significantly less expensive and much much less invasive than the laser treatment I was considering.  I would recommend that you speak with your doctor and learn more about what is causing any vaginal issues you may be having.  I will tell you that the JoyLux device is life-changing and it works!

I’ve also been using the other JoyLux products to pamper myself.  Self-care is so important, and using these amazing products makes me feel taken care of!
