The Weight of Something Real
You can tell a piece is real before you look at the price. There's a weight in your hand, a way it sits against your skin. Vahan has a particular feel. It is substantial without being heavy, detailed without being busy. The brand has been making jewelry since 1968, and the signature Moiré Beading has barely changed since it was first designed. That kind of consistency is rare now. I wear mine with a white tee and jeans as easily as with a silk blouse, and the bracelets stack without ever competing. I have pieces I rotate through and pieces I never take off, and Vahan falls in the second category. This isn't jewelry that asks for attention. It's jewelry that becomes part of who you are.
I feel as if I've reached the point where VAHAN has become part of who I am. It's part of my signature style. My friends all know it's a passion for me, and strangers compliment me when I'm wearing it. Honestly, I don't feel dressed in the morning until I've at least put on a few bracelets. That's not to say I don't ever wear anything else, but you won't often find me without a piece or two of VAHAN, even when I'm wearing costume necklaces or earrings.
My daughters love the jewelry so much that they've started asking for a piece for Christmas and their birthdays. They want to build collections of their own, and I love giving them VAHAN because it's always money well spent. As they build their own collections, they'll always have gorgeous bracelets and necklaces to complement their outfits. And as I said, this jewelry is perfect for dressing up, but it couldn't be more perfect for elevating jeans and a white blouse.
If you're thinking about starting a collection of your own, or looking for a graduation or special occasion gift, take a look at some of my favorites here. I'm always happy to answer any questions you may have.
And in case you were wondering about the rest of my outfit…my gorgeous blouse is from Benaar LA(and this one is also fabulous), my jeans are Citizens of Humanity and my sandals are from Larroudé.
A good piece outlasts a trend, a season, and most of what's in your closet. That's why I’ll always back to Vahan!
