March Days When the Wind Blows Cold

"It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold, when it is summer in the light and winter in the shade." ~ Charles Dickens

The spring season can be the hardest season to dress for because the weather can be so unpredictable and this year has been even more so!

It’s amazing how adding one new seasonal piece or even shopping for a new makeup palette or lipstick can lift your mood on a dreary spring day! So…in the spirit of lifting your mood, here are a few outfit ideas that will keep you warm and spring ready at the same time!

You can never go wrong with a good quality blazer and this one from Veronica Beard is such a classic piece that you’ll wear often and the off white color is so versatile! Pair this blazer with neutral pieces such as a high tank sweater in tan, white jeans and a classic pump. Add a structured bag with an on-trend braided handle, a touch of pink lipstick and you’re set no matter the weather!

Lavender is a huge color trend for spring 2023 and a great way to incorporate this color into your wardrobe is with a lightweight blazer. This color is beautiful with black or white and I’ve even seen it paired with orange accessories (so cute). Straight leg, high waisted jeans are still very popular, but you’ll see mid and low rise jeans creeping back into the mix. The jeans paired with this blazer are high waisted, straight leg jeans by AGOLDE. Every wardrobe needs a white and/or an off white bag and this one by Dolce Vita is well priced and so versatile. Add a pair of fun sneakers, an undated eyeshadow palette and interesting earrings for a fun spring look.

Rich textures, including feathers, fringe, tassels, ruching and even tinsel were seen on the spring 2023 fashion runways. Add this trend to your wardrobe with this fun jacket from Intermix and don’t put away your boots quite yet because they’re great paired with white and off white jeans (less expensive here). Make sure to stock up on white tanks (more here) to wear under everything and don’t forget a pair of classic gold hoops! A Charlotte Tilbury makeup palette will compliment this look perfectly!

Punctuate your spring outfits with shiny gold accessories! Cute gold loafers can be found everywhere from Steve Madden to Zara to Prada this season with classic or clunky heels. Wear them with jeans, skirts and trousers. A beautifully cut black blazer from A.L.C. pairs perfectly with gold accessories and red lipstick is a must to complete this look!

I’m a little more than obsessed with these cropped, boot cut leather pants from Frame and they are perfectly paired with an off white sweater, silk cami and transparent heels from Veronica Beard (also just purchased these). Complete this look with adorable daisy earrings, from Kendra Scott, a neutral eyeshadow palette and a beautiful studded leather bag from Isabel Marant.
