Essential Wardrobe Piece - The Shirtdress

Evidently, I have developed a love of shirt dresses this summer without even realizing it! It seems that they keep appearing in my closet and I don’t mind one bit. What I’ve realized is that a shirt dress is one of the most versatile and comfortable pieces to wear just about anywhere. It’s a look that’s polished and classic and compliments just about every body type. Do yourself a favor…give your favorite pair of jeans a break and wear a shirtdress today!

I’m showing two of my favorite new shirt dresses here; one is belted and the other isn’t. They both have pockets which I love, sleeves that roll and button on the sides, and both are linen. If you wear linen, you just have to embrace the fact that it’s going to wrinkle. If wrinkles bother you, there are many other fabrics to choose from. I’m linking some of my favorites below, some with belts and some without. I couldn’t find the exact pink dress, but the exact black dress is linked as are the shoes I’m wearing with it.
