The Fabulous Five
I didn’t title this post The Fabulous Five for nothing! These outfit ideas truly are fabulous and each one is so different featuring a fall trend…or two! Fashion trends come each season as an iteration of a classic (for the most part) and just a few small tweaks to your wardrobe can allow you to wear classic pieces that are already in your closet!
This season, that might look like adding a strand of pearls (I’m sure we all already have those), jumping on the barrel leg jean trend, getting a new suede jacket or pair of boots, or adding an updated leopard jacket or even a pair of motorcycle boots!
I’m definitely pulling out my old motorcycle boots, my suede jackets and pairing them with barrel leg jeans for a fun on trend look! Fall is the most exciting time for fashion and I hope you find inspiration here!
Winter white (as my mom always called it) is always so elegant and always classic. This season, animal prints, plaids, heritage checks, and boho motifs as well as paisley are being shown on the fashion runways…so, adding a paisley blouse to this look is perfect! The off white suede bag is a bit unexpected and fun while the booties ground the whole look!
You can never go wrong with suede, corduroy and denim. Throw in a silk scarf and you’ve got a timeless (and on trend) look that will work for nearly any occasion!
This cute puffer jacket is a perfect lightweight layer to go over a cashmere sweater with a tee underneath! Add black leather booties and bag for another easy to wear look made up of versatile pieces that will take you anywhere this fall!
Barrel jeans (these arrived at my door yesterday) with a leopard cardigan are a match made in heaven. With barrel jeans, you want to make sure the proportions are right because of the billowy leg and a cardigan with a fitted tee underneath makes it easy! Booties also work well with this style of jean and these tan ones will be the most worn in your closet! The tan suede bag looks like a designer piece, but the price is right!
If you haven’t already noticed, moto boots are a huge fall trend and these from Sam Edelman are great quality with an easy on the budget price! Pair these boots with straight leg, cropped jeans or leggings…they even work with skirts and longer denim shorts for a street style edgy look. I’m loving this belted leopard coat that really makes a statement!
