You'll Wear This Leather Hat With Everything!
As a general rule, I’ve mostly worn hats in the summer…to keep the sun off my face and also to hide my less that lovely hair at the beach. But I’ve definitely changed my mind about that…! When Tenth Street Hat Company reached out and asked me to pick out a hat, I fell in love with this leather hat from the Stetson Hat Company and I’ll be wearing it all winter long!
Tenth Street Hat Company has a huge selection of hats and I had a hard time narrowing down my choices! There is literally something for everyone including winter hats with fur, hats for Derby Day and everything in between. Tenth Street was founded in 1921 by Jack Dorfman and Arthur Hyman. The Tenth Street name is taken from the original warehouse on 10th Street and Broadway in Oakland, California. It remains a family run business to this day.
Did you know that January 15th is National Hat Day? Hats are such an important article of clothing that millions of people all over the world will celebrate this day by dusting off their favorite hat! I’ll certainly be wearing this hat on on January 15th, but also on many other days. It’s a hat to keep forever!
I decided to pair my hat with a maxi slip skirt from Vince, a cropped black mock neck from Autumn Cashmere (mine is from last season so I’ve linked a similar one) and some very fabulous snakeskin boots! (they’re on sale now!) This outfit has been one of my favorites of the season. The skirt is so versatile because of its satiny look and feel and could be dressed up easily with a holiday top.
