Double Take
Wow…it’s already been quite a day and it’s only nine AM! I think I have too much going on! I realized I have a hair appointment at 1:30 that I had totally forgotten about, we’re getting a new front door today and the guys are here to install it (I’m having construction flashbacks). Also, I have to run so many Thanksgiving errands and the list goes on! I keep saying it…but I guess…tis the season! I always look so forward to the holiday season, but maybe it’s kind of like having a baby…you remember the good parts and forgot the chaos!
You may be looking at these Trina Turk dresses and thinking you’ve seen them before and you’re right, but they were styled differently in a previous post! I decided to change things up a bit and style them in a more traditional way…with stilettos instead of boots! I’m not sure which way I prefer - I suppose it depends on the event!

It would be really difficult for me to pick a favorite between these two Trina Turk dresses! They are both very classic styles but the sequined dress is definitely less conservative although they would both be perfect for any holiday party and I will be wearing one of these for Christmas Eve! These are dresses I’ll keep in my closet for years to come!
Even though both pairs of shoes have a higher heel, they are so comfortable! I decided a while back that I would not be miserable in shoes any more…that was for my younger self and younger days. The rhinestone pumps from Jimmy Choo are several years old, but they still make almost an identical pair and I just purchased the stiletto sling backs from Paris Texas and absolutely love them!
