BALD HEAD BLUES

The past couple of days have been so much fun but I've had a hard time photographing them because I dropped my camera not once, but twice and broke not one, but two lenses!  I felt like a complete idiot for doing it, however, things are working out!  My son-in-law, Chris had to go home for a couple of days and was able to take the lenses to be repaired and will be back with them today!  I'm so relieved!!  Part of the reason I haven't posted any recipes is because it is really difficult to take pictures of food with a 300 MM camera lens!

Mr. Crazy took these pictures of me yesterday and I love the first ones with Old Baldy in the background!  There are so many beautiful views on the island but this is one of my favorites.   I'm wearing a top by Ella Moss that I bought at my favorite shop on the Island, Island Passage!  It's a great color of blue that will be perfect going into fall, but also works now with white shorts or white jeans.  It has a drawstring detail that adds just a bit of interest.  I paired it with my Rebecca Minkoff gladiator sandals (on sale here).

This view is in the harbor where the ferry comes in.  In the distance you can see Oak Island.

I'm flipping through my fall issue of Porter Magazine.  If you've never read Porter you are really missing out!

Later in the afternoon, we pulled out the Margaritaville Machine and made some tasty skinny Pineapple Habanero Margaritas.  This machine is way too much fun...it's five o'clock somewhere!
