Handmade Tableware and Brunch with Rebecca and Hayes

Rebecca has been busy designing a new line of tableware and it will be ready to order soon!  I was invited to brunch with Rebecca and Hayes on Sunday before I left to go home.  She made a beautiful charcuterie display on one of her newly designed platters.  It was the perfect size and shape to hold the cheese, prosciutto, olives and fruit.  The platter is flat with a rim so nothing slides off the edges but it's easy to create a display on the flat surface  The color is a fabulous and neutral grey green that goes with just about anything.  The olives are in an adorable little bowl that would be perfect for salt, sugar or just about any condiment, and you can just see the edge of a bigger matching bowl holding cantaloupe in the first picture.  All of the pieces are beautiful and functional.

The two round plates are beautifully irregular and perfect for serving or for use as dinner plates.

These beautiful round plates held the Lemon Almond Cake and Biscotti that we made at our Sur La Table Cooking Class.

We had such a delicious brunch with the best cheeses, cantaloupe and bread from Eataly, combined with the Lemon Almond Cake, Focaccia Bread and Biscotti that we made in our cooking class!   As we ate brunch and drank or coffee, we listened to Miles Davis...it was such a relaxing morning and a great ending to my visit!

I miss Rebecca already and I wish for her that Spring comes to Boston very soon!  Have a great day everyone!  Follow me on Instagram @crazyblondelifeblog!  Check back for another Daily Indulgence!
