From Poppies to Leopard - The Art of Bold Print Mixing

Some days call for bold choices, and this look is all about mixing prints, textures, and timeless details. I started with a sheer Milly blouse scattered with bright red poppies…feminine and striking! I paired it with leopard pants from Sézane for an unexpected, playful clash of patterns. To anchor the look, I slipped on my fabulous red patent leather block heel pumps from Roger Vivier that I purchased in New York several years ago…they instantly add polish and confidence. A classic red Zara blazer (an old favorite that proves how good pieces never truly go out of style) pulls everything together, while a strand of pearls from Julie Miles adds just the right touch of sophistication. It’s a combination that feels fearless, a little bit cheeky, and more and more me… because style is always better when it comes with attitude!

One of the most liberating things about getting older is realizing that style is for ourselves, not for the approval of others. With age comes confidence, and that confidence gives us the freedom to make bolder choices…whether it’s mixing unexpected prints, wearing brighter colors, or choosing pieces that simply make us feel fabulous. Fashion becomes less about fitting in and more about standing out, embracing individuality, and expressing who we truly are without hesitation.

Because of the inherent nature of fall fashion…layering sweaters and jackets, adding scarves and more jewelry, it’s a little easier to play with patterns and textures! This fall, I’m going bold as often as possible…wearing my clothes in different and unexpected ways and having fun!

Take this as your sign to “be bold” with fashion this fall!
