Six Days of Fall Looks
I am finally packing up and heading to the beach in just a bit so Iβll make this a short post! Itβs been a crazy week as usual and Iβm still in disbelief that itβs September! Honestly, where does the time go? Itβs still warm here in North Carolina, but fall is coming and todayβs post includes collages for outfits to wear now and later when the temps drop! I found some really great items and I hope you find something you love!
As always, remember to use these collages as outfit inspiration to shop your closet and then fill in where you need to! Iβm attaching my Collage to Closet Guidelines below in case you need a little help getting inspired! Enjoy this post!

Step 1: Spot the Color Story
Look for the main colors in the collage.
Choose 2β3 to focus on (ex: blush pink + white + gold).
Pull clothing or accessories you already own in those shades.
Step 2: Identify the Key Piece
Every collage usually has a βheroβ item (bold jacket, flowy skirt, statement shoe).
Pick one similar item from your wardrobe to make your outfit center around.
Step 3: Recreate the Silhouette
Notice if the collage leans oversized, structured, or flowy.
Mimic the proportions (ex: oversized blazer + fitted pants, or flowy skirt + slim top).
Step 4: Match the Textures
If the collage mixes denim + silk, or lace + leather, try pairing similar textures you own.
Textures often make the outfit feel as luxe as the collage.
Step 5: Add the Accessories
Accessories in collages are mood-setters.
Look for details like layered jewelry, hats, sunglasses, or statement bags and add them in.
Step 6: Capture the Mood
Think about the energy of the collage (romantic, edgy, minimal, playful).
Even if you donβt have the exact pieces, choose items that give off the same feeling.
Step 7: Final Polish
Step back and see if your outfit feels balanced.
If itβs too plain, add one more bold accessory. If it feels too much, remove one.
Bonus Trick: Keep a few collages you love on your phone. Before you get dressed, glance at them and pull one element (color, texture, or accessory) to instantly elevate your look.
I was inspired to write a Substack post yesterday that Iβll likely publish on Monday! I hope youβll take a minute to check out and subscribe to my Substack if you havenβt already! Itβs called Simply Said by Suzanne! I write about things that touch me and inspire me and I hope you enjoy!
Thanks so much for reading today! Have a wonderful weekend!
