Spring Outfit Perfection
Spring dressing just got a whole lot more interesting!
These Donni gingham silk taffeta pants have completely taken over my wardrobe! I ordered one pair and immediately went back for more, which tells you everything you need to know. The fabric has that incredible crispness that silk taffeta does so well, and the cropped drawstring silhouette is genuinely flattering... easy and relaxed. They come in the most irresistible color combinations, and the green and white I'm wearing here felt like the perfect way to ease into spring. I paired them with a top from Mirth because the lace detail adds just enough softness to balance the structure of the pants (and I love the sleeves), and the white-on-white moment with the Veronica Beard bag felt very effortless and right. The Vahan jewelry is doing a lot of quiet work here too…I’m obsessed with all of it, but especially the pearl and white gold bracelets and the pearl ring! These pieces make an outfit feel finished and if you've never worn VAHAN jewelry, this is your sign. The Ulla Johnson woven sandals are ones I picked up over the winter and have been waiting patiently to wear because we had such a cold winter. A quick Amazon find for the green sunnies, and an ecru Ann Taylor sweater tossed over my shoulders when the evening cooled down rounded everything out. Everything is linked in the boutique below…shopping the look is easy... but fair warning, once you see the gorgeous colors of these Donni pants, one pair will not be enough.
Aside from the outfit that I’m loving…how dreamy is the light in these pictures? They were taken around 7:30 in the evening and it was so beautiful! I love daylight savings time…one I get adjusted! Having more daylight hours just makes me happy!
There's a certain kind of piece that just clicks... you put it on and immediately start thinking about every other color it comes in. These Donni pants are that piece for me this spring! I cannot get enough of this silhouette! So…if you find yourself ordering more than one pair, just know you were warned.
It’s been the most beautiful weekend here so far…Baldy and I worked in the yard all day yesterday and it felt good to get some gardening chores done! I’m ready to buy plants for my planters and put in a few more hydrangeas now that we have things cleaned up! I only wish the pollen would hurry up and finishing falling because it’s been brutal this year…everything has been coated in yellow dust! Oh well, it’s part of life in an old neighborhood with lots of trees!

Have a fabulous Sunday!
