Brand Crush - Xirena at Mother Denim
Happy Saturday! What a week it’s been for this Crazy Blonde! My two youngest daughters and my youngest grandson are here staying with us and we certainly have a house full (John Wayne, my daughter’s dog is here too)! It’s been lively to say the least and a little exhausting just trying to keep up with everything! We’re all piling in the car on Monday morning to head to Bald Head Island and I’m so excited to get there! There will be a house full there as well with my oldest and her husband and grandsons joining in on the fun.
There will sadly be one missing at the beach…we took Dash to a dog trainer this morning and dropped him off for 6 weeks. It was hard to leave him, but I know it’s best for him and for us. When we pick him up, we’ll drop Amos off for a couple of weeks. He doesn’t need as much training, but you really can’t train one and not the other!
Before we hit the road, there are a few things that need to happen, including a major shopping trip to Costco. It’s so much easier (and way less expensive) to take the necessities with us when there are so many people at the beach. Shopping on an island can be hard because options are limited and we end up spending a fortune. Tomorrow I’ll be getting everything organized and packed and then I’ll fall into bed, tired, but looking forward to a fun filled week ahead!
One of the things that will definitely be packed in my bag is this cute dress from Xirena - I found it last week at Rebecca & Co in Greensboro NC while shopping with my daughter.

I’m so loving this brand and the easy laid back style that seems more than perfect for an island destination. I’m showing this dress belted and unbelted, because I think it’s cute both ways. I feel just dressed up enough while wearing it, but still casual and comfortable. I’ve styled it with my Cult Gaia Ark bag and sandals from Jeffrey Campbell. I’ve linked the same sandal in a different color because the gold is sold out but these sandals are so comfortable and go with everything!
This time of the year, when the first pre fall items hit the stores and the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is in full swing, I do start to thing about fall clothes! I know it’s early….but I just can’t resist starting to daydream about cozy sweaters, fires in the fireplace outside and pumpkin spice everything. I’m not ready for summer to be over yet though…
The blouse I’m wearing below is also by Xirena and I’ve paired it with Mother Denim cropped flare jeans and Marc Fisher suede booties. The blouse would definitely be very cute now styled with sandals and denim shorts. I really love the look of a long sleeve blouse paired with shorts.
