Fall Trend Forecast
I’ve been in New York for the past three days and the weather has been amazing! We’ve been walking around Soho and West Village and believe me…I’ve seen some interesting outfits, but I’ve also seen some fabulous ones! One thing that has surprised me is that women are already wearing boots with dresses and shorts. I’ve also seen lots of fisherman sandals, round toe mules, kitten heels, long denim cutoff shorts and dresses! It’s been so much fun to go into the shops…high end and lower end and see what’s trending.
Here is a rundown of some of the most wearable trends in women’s fashion for Fall 2025 and keep scrolling for a few outfit ideas incorporating these trends! As with all trends…incorporate the ones you love and leave the rest for someone else!
I’ve tried to find items that can be worn now and into fall…with a few exceptions because as you know…summer isn’t over!

Sneakers & Chunky Boots – Sporty footwear remains key, pairing well with both casual and more dressed-up outfits.
Metallic Accents & Accessories – Subtle shiny details in jewelry and bags to elevate everyday looks.
Sustainable & Upcycled Fashion – Eco-friendly fabrics and vintage-inspired pieces continue to trend.
These trends focus on comfort, versatility, and sustainability—perfect for everyday wear!
It has taken me all summer long to embrace the idea of longer denim shorts but I finally broke down and ordered a pair. I like the way they look on other people but I have short legs so we shall see! The little modified kitten heel mules will go with everything and come in other colors! One trend I didn’t mention above is vibrant colors and a good place to incorporate a vibrant color is with a shoe!
Don’t put away your raffia sandals just yet! I’m going to be wearing mine into September because summer in the South lasts well past August! I probably will start to wear longer jeans more often and add an oversized jacket in the evening when going out! And…if you haven’t tried Huda Beauty products, you’ll love them all! It’s one of my favorite new beauty brands!
A white maxi with fun gold accessories, a fabulous bag and trending fisherman sandals is just the thing for daytime lunching, errands or vacation! The gorgeous bag pictured below comes in several other colors and I’m loving it!
Animal prints are forever and adding a pair of pointed toe leopard mules instantly elevates any look! You can easily add more of a fall feel to any outfit by carrying a leather bag!
Don’t hesitate to wear a pair of leather sandals with a sweater when the weather feels a little cooler! This sweater from Madewell is one you’ll wear often with everything from jeans to shorts and I’m completely obsessed with the dreamy cream leather bag!

I have a little time today to wander around by myself and then I’m meeting my daughter and grandsons for a while! Tonight for dinner we’re eating in the West Village at an Italian restaurant called King that’s supposed to be delicious!
This trip has flown by and I will say that it’s been amazing…great food, beautiful weather, fun shopping and family time!
