When the Azaleas Bloom

//Hunter Bell Dress//Jimmy Choo Sandals (old but similar here)//Veronica Beard Bag//

There is a moment every spring when the world just exhales. The azaleas burst open overnight, the air smells different, and everything feels new again. I took these pictures in a park near our home (that I grew up playing in) and...I could have stayed all day. This is the South at its most beautiful and I look forward to it every year!

The dress I’m wearing is from Hunter Bell and it couldn’t be more perfect for spring! Butter yellow linen with the most gorgeous watercolor floral print...soft pink flowers that look like they were painted by hand. It's the kind of dress that feels like spring itself. I paired it with gold strappy heels that I’ve had forever (my first pair of Jimmy Choo sandals), a little white structured bag and kept the jewelry simple...a diamond baguette necklace from Hart and silver bracelets from VAHAN. The dress is really the whole story here!

And the macarons...because why not? If you're going to stand in a park full of blooming azaleas in a dress this beautiful, you should absolutely be holding a tray of macarons on your vintage silver…and they just happened to match the dress! They also made for a delicious snack after the shoot was over!

This dress would be perfect for Easter, a garden party, a spring wedding, a brunch...or honestly just a Tuesday when you feel like wearing something beautiful. Hunter Bell always gets the balance right between special and wearable and this one is no exception. The dress is linked below along with a few other pieces that I’m loving.

I’m sitting in the cutest little carriage house in Charleston as I write this! It’s a beautiful day and we’re headed out soon to do a little shopping! We had a fabulous dinner last night and we’re all looking forward to a wonderful Easter weekend. We’re planning an Easter egg hunt in the morning for the babies and I definitely brought my camera to capture all the cute moments!

I wish Spring could last forever!

Happy Easter weekend and thanks for reading!

~XOXO Suzanne
