The Art of the In Between - Three Early Spring Looks

Classic pieces, fresh combinations, endless possibilities…

Early spring is the sweet spot for outfit inspiration! Your closet is full of possibilities and a few fresh pieces can make everything feel new again. These three looks are put-together without being overdone and casual enough to actually live in. These are the kind of outfits that work for lunch, errands, a last-minute dinner, or whatever the day demands. The pieces are classic with just enough of what's current to feel fresh, and every one of them earns its place by working harder than a single occasion. Pull what you have, note what's missing, and shop with purpose.

I'm on the hunt for spring shoes that look the part but still make sense on the colder days we know are coming. The goal is something that works now, transitions into full spring, and earns a place in the rotation all year long. Suede booties are endlessly versatile (these are waterproof and so stylish)… wear them with summer dresses and shorts when the time comes. Clogs are always a yes, especially paired with skinny flare jeans, and…a slingback heel never goes out of style because it's that quintessential ladylike touch that works with almost everything.

For layering, a lightweight jacket is your best friend this time of year. Mornings are still chilly, afternoons warm up fast, and the right jacket adds as much interest to a look as it does practicality. Think an updated classic trench, a puffy jacket, or a cropped denim jacket. And one more thing…white jeans have no season. Wear them now, wear them in December, wear them whenever you want!

Spring dressing is really just about working with what you have and being smart about what you add. A few versatile pairs of shoes, a jacket that layers without bulk, and the right pair of jeans can take you further than a closet full of pieces that only work one way. Shop with intention, reach for the classics, and always have a little fun with it!

Thanks so much for reading today!
