Favorite Brand - Misa Los Angeles

I first discovered Misa Los Angeles in small boutiques that I frequently shop in near our home. Misa is a beautiful brand with timeless boho styles and I’ve found that I reach for these pieces over and over again. While shopping recently at Monkees in Wilmington, I found the beautiful dress that I’m wearing in these pictures. It’s so girly and romantic and perfect for a summer wedding. My daughter Rebecca is getting married in May of 2022 and when I tried it on, I knew that it would be an ideal dress for bridal showers and other wedding events. These dresses sell out quickly and sadly, mine is no longer available unless you find it in a small boutique, but I’ve linked some of my favorites below that are fabulous! Keep reading to learn a little more about this brand…I think you’ll love it as much as I do!

MISA’a late founder Shadi Askari-Farhat's had a romantic heart, bohemian spirit and wanderlust eye.  In 2016, she launched MISA, which is a combination of her daughters’ names.  Born in Los Angeles with an eye to the world, the brand is deeply inspired by her myriad passions — including travel, art and design.

Misa embodies effortless femininity and elevates the idea of easy dressing brought to life with fluid silhouettes. The prints are fabulous with unique detailing that definitely stands out. Misa creates many-moment dresses, separates and knitwear that will take you from... day to evening, week to weekend, and home to travels away.

All of the pieces are handmade in Los Angeles by a talented team of designers, pattern-makers and sewists, Many loving hands touch each garment — some with over 50 steps, in order to bring the collection to life each season. These are truly special pieces that you’ll have in your wardrobe for years to come!

Misa Los Angeles Dress - Crazy Blonde Life

One of the things that I love about this dress is the asymmetry. It’s off the shoulder, shorter in the front than the back and hangs beautifully! I’ve styled it dress with gold sandals from Marc Fisher and a clear bag from Staud that I bought last season and that has gone with most everything I own. The shoes are new from the summer collection and I’ve linked similar bags.
