Sophisticated Style for the Holidays and Beyond

This Brochu Walker look is one of my absolute favorite outfits of the season…a chic vegan-leather pencil skirt with grommets paired with a ribbed knit top featuring elegant balloon sleeves. I styled this look with tall black suede boots from Schutz and a cropped black faux-fur coat for an outfit with a sophisticated, modern feel that works beautifully almost year-round, but feels especially chic during the holiday season. Each piece stands on its own as a versatile separate that can be dressed up or down, and together they create a look that’s effortlessly polished. I’m planning to pack this outfit for dinner in New York this December, and I know it will be perfect for a stylish evening in the city…with a long coat, of course! I will also be packing and wearing my fabulous jewelry from VAHAN that I wear with everything, every day!

Brochu Walker is a mainstay in my closet because the clothes are beautiful, the quality is amazing and I really wear each piece! I always reach for their sweaters, a pair of jeans and booties when I’m in a hurry because I know I’ll look put together even thought I may feel frazzled! It’s an outfit formula that works every time!
I have this same skirt (without the grommets) in an ecru color and I wear it often…these skirts really do work almost year round…they’re perfect with boots, sneakers and sandals!
This has been one of the prettiest fall seasons I remember in a long time…I think the leaves are so pretty because it’s been cooler and we’ve had just the right amount of rain! You can see the beautiful colors in the woods beside our home in the background of these pictures and I’m so grateful for the view each day!
